    My daughters boyfriend doesn't like steak normally but I gave him one of these sirloins and he was converted! The BEST steak he had ever eaten in his life apparently and I have to say.......I agree with him. Personally, I look to buy steaks which have a little fat on them because it adds to the overall flavour but if you don't want this, you can always opt for the MF 'Pure' range of steaks.     Hot pan, weeny knob of butter and prop the steak on it's fat edge using a fork or skewer on each side (careful not to pierce the meat, it's just for propping purposes). Cook on it's edge just until the fat renders down. Then add a drop of garlic flavoured olive oil and cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes for a perfect, medium rare treat. Don't forget to rest your steak for 2 minutes under loosely covered foil. It is truly SCRUMPTIOUS steak! (Posted on 10/03/2018)

  • Cooking Tip: For a perfectly cooked Sirlion Steak heat a griddle or frying pan until it's smoking hot. Add the steak and sear it for a few minutes without moving it. Turn over and sear again on the other side for a further few minutes. Allow the steak to rest for at least a few minutes before eating, as this makes it even more tender! Serve with some chunky Sweet Potato Wedges and a fresh green salad.
