3. Vegan Gains


Some of the biggest Olympic champions are vegan and proud of it.

You may have heard of a tennis player named Venus Williams? Yep, she’s a vegan and still gets all of her essential nutrients in a raw food vegan diet.

She turned to this diet after learning she had Sjögrens Syndrome – a common condition that causes dry eyes and dry mouth by attacking cells that produce tears and saliva.

And while Venus is perfectly outright about her plant-based diet, even calling herself a “cheagan” (cheating vegan), it’s clear she’s changing perspectives on this type of eating.
