The most important tip I can give you is to simply listen to what your body is telling you, and stop if things start getting weird…

If you begin to feel dizzy, confused, cold and clammy, or struggle to breathe, stop immediately. You may have made all the prep on the last few pages, but we still all feel these side effects in the heat at times.

You don’t want to risk any permanent damage by stubbornly carrying on.

Always have your mobile phone on you, just in case you need a lift home. Heat exhaustion can really happen out of nowhere!
