I hold my hands up; 3 kids, 6 weeks, (and trying to work from home), can be a challenge. It's mighty easy to resort to a cheeky glass of wine to unwind. 

But once that first glass of your favourite tipple starts to kick in, it’s tempting to pour another, and then another. As blood sugar drops, we start reaching for foods to appease those munchie cravings. Before we know it we've wolfed down another 500 calories, or more, that we probably wouldn't have consumed, if only we hadn't had that second glass of booze.

Even the foods we'd prepare our kids could be affected with the mentality of, "ah what the heck, it's the holidays"! 

So, take back control with alcohol consumption, and try not to use it as a reward, more as an embellishment to other enjoyable activities.
