1. Learn how (and where) to shop

But seriously, you’ve got to pick and choose your places to shop. Go for the reduced aisle in a supermarket, or buy big hampers for freezing.
2. Learn to cook
We have a good recipe section to help with this, but to get the most out of your food you have to learn great cooking skills.
Learn some good, wholesome recipes to give you all the macros you need! That will help you when it comes to bulking up.
3. Cook the same meals over and over
The same as with anything – if you find something you love, do it over and over again.
Find your favourite recipe and keep cooking it. Normally, variety is the spice of life. But if you want to keep track of your macros, then it’s much easier to keep track of with the same meals.
4. Cook tonight’s dinner and tomorrow’s lunch at the same time
Meal prep is essential, not only when it comes to bulking up, but also for eating on a budget.
This gives you both complete control over what you eat and the cost of it too. Not only are you shunning the empty nutrients of a meal deal, but you’re also keeping costs low.
5. Check your monthly expenses and keep cutting

Check your budget on a monthly basis and cross check with the food you buy. If anything was not used in that month, cut it out and focus on the stuff you love.
