In 2021, Love Island's Shaughna Phillips joined us on a MuscleFood Goal Getter meal plan.
Shaughna was on the Super Slimmer 1800+ calories plan for 12 weeks and managed to both reach her weight loss goal also transform her relationship with food.

When we first spoke to Shaughna, her goals weren't so much about the number on the scale, but more about transforming her diet, supporting her fitness plan and helping change her relationship to food,
I know that I feel the most comfortable when I’m wearing a size 8 to 10 so
that’s what I’d like to aim for. I’m also hoping for more of a mental transformation when it comes to my attitudes to food and dieting, I’ve always thought that ‘eating is cheating’ and it just shouldn’t be that way
When starting Goal Getters, she was really hoping that it would help her learn more about how to eat properly; more regularly and with the right portions and macros. We love this, as our plans do all the work for you: 3 meals a day plus snacks, all within your desired calorie goal and all nutritionally developed by our expert chefs to be high protein and low fat.
Portion control – I have none. I tend to have one big meal and then that’s it for the rest of the day. I know I need to get better at eating more regularly, trying to have set mealtimes so I’m more consistent
Physically, Shaughna saw some great results, helping her to drop inches and tone up. She dropped a whole dress size from a 12 to a 10, and lost a total of 10 inches across her body including 3 inches off her waist, 1 inch on both upper arms and 5 inches off her hips.
"I have a pair of jeans that are a size 12 and I had to send them back
because they’re too big! I got a size 10 and even they’re a little loose. It sounds really cringe but it really feels like I’ve got my mojo back, March 2019 to say August, I wasn’t feeling great but now I feel like I’ve got the old me back."
However, some of the biggest changes have been to Shaughna's mindset. Eating well, fuelling her workouts and not feeling restricted even while getting results has been a game changer for her.
This is probably the most consistent I’ve been when it comes to having a healthy diet that’s sustainable. I always used to think that to be on a diet you had to eat basically air, and then when I did eat, I had to eat something I didn’t really enjoy. That’s why I’ve loved using MuscleFood because I don’t feel like I’m restricting myself at all, you get something different every night and it all tastes amazing.
After many years of public struggles with weight, dieting and eating, this is the best result to see for Shaughna and we are so pleased to have helped her build a new, happy and healthy relationship with her diet.
