Steak and Chimichurri Lettuce Bites

The season of Christmas parties has arrived and what better way to impress your guests than with these super easy Steak and Chimichurri Lettuce Bites. Simple and impressive.

Serves 14. Per Portion: 64kcals, 5g protein, 4.1g fat, 1.7g carbs

Ingredients


1 x MuscleFood Heritage beef fillet steak
3 baby gem lettuces
Salt and pepper
Low calorie oil spray

Chimichurri


1 tbsp fresh parsley
½ tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove
1 tsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp chilli flakes
Salt and pepper

Step by Step:


1. Mix together all the chimichurri ingredients with 1 tbsp water
2. Season and set aside.
3. Spray steak with oil and fry 2‐3 mins each side.
4. Set aside for 5 mins, cut into slices
5. Meanwhile gently peel leaves from the gem lettuce
6. Place one piece of steak on each leaf cup, top with a drizzle of chimichurri
7. Serve
