  • 400g Extra Lean Steak Mince (5%)
  • 1 x Red Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 2 x Cloves Of Garlic (Finely Chopped)
  • 150g Frozen Garden Peas
  • 12 x Olives
  • 500g Passata
  • Black Pepper
  • Mixed Dried Herbs
  • 3 x Large Courgettes
  • Sliced Jalapeños
  • Fresh Parsley

  1. Take a large non-stick frying pan, spray with your low calorie cooking spray, add in your mince and cook over a medium heat.
  2. Once your mince has browned, take your chopped onion and garlic and add to your mince along with your peas. Cook for a further 2-3 minutes whilst stirring frequently.
  3. Next add your passata, olives, black pepper and herbs. Don’t forget to season for added taste! Simmer for a further 20 minutes on a low heat.
  4. While your bolognese is simmering, make your courgetti using a spiralizer (you can use shop-bought courgetti, but where’s the fun in that?)
  5. In a separate pan, use your low calorie cooking spray and cook your courgetti for 2-3 minutes until it softens (it may be easier to do this in small batches).
  6. Now that everything is cooked, grab a plate and serve up. Garnish with jalapeños and parsley to your taste.
