Deliciously aromatic and spicy, ginger adds a warm flavour and zest to any food as well as providing a whole host of health benefits.

Ginger has long been known to help alleviate gastrointestinal distress (that’s gas to you and me) which can be handy for those of us on a high protein diet! It’s also rich in compounds called ginerols which have very potent anti-inflammatory properties.

Ginger is deliciously warming and perfect in a hot drink on a cold day, which can help to soothe sore throats and clear a blocked nose. It’s also fantastic added to food to add flavour.

Try adding a little sliced ginger to a stir fry for a tasty zing or its fantastic minced and added to stews or an aromatic beef curry. Adding ginger at the beginning of cooking will give a subtle flavour while adding it near the end of cooking will give a more pungent taste.

Fresh Veg is Tasty Veg!

We source only the freshest, seasonal vegetables. They are delivered to us fresh each morning, not sat around in the supermarket for days, so will reach you with a minimum of 5 days shelf life.

Store in a cool, dry place or in the veg drawer of your fridge to prolong the life.
