If you can't practise with your basketball team right now, how about some independent practise for your explosive power with jumping exercises, or going over your footwork using a speed ladder drawn on the floor with chalk or string.

It might be makeshift, but it will work just as well as the real thing!

Similarly, practising multi-directional sprints, lateral movements, and quick direction changes can really benefit your performance in sports such as squash or football.

Even if you don't have the facilities to train properly, working on accessory strength and skills can still add a huge amount of value to your training, and help you maintain all your hard work.
