Healthy Chicken Burger & Chips

Burgers don’t have to be bad for you… Switch out some of the fatty ingredients and you’ve got yourself a seriously tasty dish – courtesy of London Paleo Girl!

Ingredients

    Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 2 x Iceberg Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 x Chicken Burger
  • ½ chopped Green Pepper
  • ¼ finely chopped Red Onion
  • Finely chopped Coriander
  • 1 x Roasting Potato
  • 1 x Carrot
  • Squirt of Stoffell’s Tomato & Chilli Refined Sugar Free Ketchup

Method:


  1. Pan fry burger in coconut oil until cooked on both sides.
  2. After this, pan fry the peppers and onion.
  3. Chop up the tomato and onions to make a salsa topping on the burger.
  4. Slice the potato and carrots into the shape you wish and add a spoonful of coconut oil to glaze.
  5. Cover in Paprika and pop in an oven pre-heated to 200C, for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Put the Chicken Burger in the lettuce leave, dress with salsa, serve up the carrot chips and potato, and add a dollop of ketchup for dipping.
