Healthy Slow Cooked Beef Chilli


Ingredients

  • Onions
  • Garlic cloves
  • 500g Lean Mince
  • 2 Cans Kidney Beans
  • 2 Cans Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1tbsp. Tomato Puree
  • 2 Stock cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. Oregano
  • 1tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • Salt + Pepper
  • 160g Peppers
  • 1tsp. Cumin

Method:


  1. Heat a large fry pan over a medium to high heat with a little cooking spray.
  2. Add the onion and garlic along with the lean beef and brown.
  3. Once browned, turn off the heat and tip the mix into a slow cooker.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients along with some salt and pepper.
  5. Give everything a nice stir and pop on a setting of your choice.
  6. Low will take 7-8 hours, High will take 4-5 hours to cook.
  7. Serve with some whole grain rice.
