Homemade Healthy Orange Chicken
This simple recipe is packed with zesty flavour not to mention AMAZING Macros – spot on for a delicious post workout dinner…

Ingredients
- 680g Chicken Breast
- 120ml orange juice
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. Chicken bouillon or ½ stock cube
- 80g large onion - chopped
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1 tbsp. corn starch
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp. ground pepper
- 1 tbsp. chilli flakes
- Half an orange - sliced
- Chopped parsley
- Sesame seeds - optional
Method:
- Cut the chicken breast into strips and place into a large bowl.
- Add all of the ingredients to the chicken except for the half orange, parsley and sesame seeds then marinate for 2 hours in the fridge.
- Place a pan on a medium heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Once warm, add the chicken along with all of the marinade to the pan and cook through.
- When the chicken is cooked through, add in the half an orange and stir into the mix along with some freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve atop some freshly steamed rice and a sprinkling of sesame seeds.
