Meet Neil Chauhan, a 19-year-old muscle machine who has gone from an obese childhood to a ripped fitness model, all by pushing himself to the limit!

Neil was always big from his childhood, choosing to stay indoors and snack while watching TV. But one day, he decided to change his habits by working hard to become healthy and confident.

Starting small with the occasional football match against his mates, he soon upped his game with the help of a junior bodybuilder.

Slowly but surely over the last few years, Neil took 36lbs off his total weight, shredded 12% of his body fat content, and is now flexing the results on competition stages!

So how did he do it? True grit – absolute consistency and focus on the end goal. He has not faltered during his transformation, and it’s paid off big time… His lifestyle is immensely better, he’s found a new love in our protein pizzas and (most importantly) he has a much more confident energy.

It doesn’t stop there either – The former crisp-loving Xbox addict is planning to take his abs to more competitions, continue into the realm of personal training and open his own gym. That is some incredible ambition, and we wish him all the best in achieving these goals!

Interview with Neil Chauhan

Hi Neil, thanks for taking the time to chat with us! Let’s get the ball rolling here – what is the story behind your transformation?

Neil Chauhan before

I was always big from my childhood and that's what motivated me to change my lifestyle and habits, improving my healthy and confident. Once I saw little changes, I kept on going and got addicted to it!

Now I just want to keep improving myself and help others achieve the same like me. I got help from a junior bodybuilder named Jamie do Rego, who helped me a lot with my diet and training, preparing me for my first Fitness Modelling competition.

This has changed my mind set and lifestyle as I just want to improve my physique and get better. I’ve comefrom a shy chubby lad, to confident fitness model competitor and I’m never looking back!

Why did you want to change yourself?

Simple – I didn't like the way I looked. My confidence was low and I wasn't doing my self any favours for the future by staying in bad shape.

How did you do it?

I started with slow changes at first - going out playing football with friends for example. After this, I eventually started looking at the food I was eating, using Jamie’s coaching to change my mind set and lifestyle when it came to food. Soon after this, it progressed to a lot of healthy eating and training.

From start to finish, how long did your transformation take?

I worked at it slowly, so it took me over a few years to achieve the transformation.

Did you have any setbacks?

No – I managed to stay focused.

Who has been your inspiration throughout your transformation?

Two names come to mind - Junior bodybuilder Jamie Do Rego (who helped me a lot in my transformation), and Christian Guzman.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received from someone?

If you want to do something, go do it and let no one get in the way!

Neil After His Transformation

Do you have a body part you’re still working on? And what are you doing to bring that in line?

Definitely working hard on my shoulders and arms - Hitting them more than once a week and eating big!

The work/life balance is already tricky, so how do you find juggling fitness in there as well?

I always make time for it, because I’m addicted to working out now!
