Tuna Steak with Sesame and Soy Sauce

Tuna Steak with Sesame and Soy Sauce


  • Tuna Steak
  • 20g Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • Dash of Ginger and Pepper
  • 5g Coconut Oil


  • Calories: 292kcal

  • Fibre: 2g


  1. Place your fry pan onto a high heat and add 5g of coconut oil.
  2. Melt the oil then sear the tuna for a minute on each side.
  3. Once sealed on both sides place it onto a plate and rest.
  4. Add the ginger and pepper to the soy sauce and mix well.
  5. Using tongs, place the Tuna into the soy sauce until both sides are well coated.
  6. Pop the steak onto the sesame seeds and coat on all sides.
  7. Re-heat the pan and place the Tuna back into the pan to fry off the sesame seeds
  8. Add the rest of the seeds to the pan a fry until fragrant.
  9. Serve immediately.
