Snickers Protein Bars

A healthy, protein packed version of the humble Snickers bar? It’d be rude not to give these bad boys a bosh!

Ingredients

For the bottom layer

For the medium layer

For the top layer

Nutrition

  • Calories: 291kcal
  • Protein: 8g
  • Carbs: 11g
  • Fats: 23g
  • Fibre: 2g

Method:


  1. Start by making the bottom layer by combining all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Firmly press the mixture down into a small tray.
  3. Smother the bottom layer with an even spread of peanut butter.
  4. Freeze until set (around 1 hour).
  5. Finally, melt the dark chocolate.
  6. Once runny, spread over the top of the bars.
  7. Freeze again until set.
  8. Cut into even sized bars and enjoy.
  9. These can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.
