Ingredients

  • 3 sirloin steaks (seasoned with garlic, pepper and Himalayan salt)
  • Thumb-sized amount of ginger
  • 3 cups reduced salt beef stock
  • 3 cups boiled water
  • 1 chilli sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 five-star anise
  • 4tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 packet of Zero fat, low carb noodles
  • 3 spring onions sliced
  • Coriander

Method:


  1. Place coconut oil into a pot and sear the steak for 2 minutes each side, then put aside and cut against the grain.
  2. Place in your red onion and ginger into the pot until the onion is caramelised.
  3. Pour in your beef stock, boiled water, cinnamon, chilli and 5 anise.
  4. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Place in your fish sauce and simmer for a further 10 minutes.
  6. In your bowl, place in your noodles and spring onion.
  7. Once your stock is cooked, pour it into your bowl then place in your steak and garnish with coriander and a few extra chilli's!
