  • 125g Gluten Free Plain Flour
  • 1 egg
  • 250ml milk
  • Knob of butter


Step 1

Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl and make a well in the centre.

Step 2

Crack the egg into the well and pour in about one quarter of the milk.

Step 3

Whisk together until a smooth paste is formed.

Step 4

Mix in the rest of the milk and allow to rest.

Step 5

Meanwhile, heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat.

Step 6

Add the knob of butter to the pan.

Step 7

Once melted, ladle a small amount of the mix into the pan and swirl gently to get an even layer of batter.

Step 8

When small bubbles begin the form in the centre, flip the pancake and cook until golden.

Step 9

Repeat until you’ve a tasty stack and serve with your favourite toppings!
