  • STORAGE & PREP

    Storage: Keep refrigerated and consume by the use-by date on the pack.

    Also suitable for home freezing. Ideally freeze on day of receipt and always before the use-by date shown. Defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking and once defrosted, consume immediately.

    Cooking: 

    To roast:

    Remove outer packaging, cook in foil at 190oC/ 375oF gas mark 5 for 65 minutes per kg, uncover, baste and roast for a further 30 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before carving.

     To cook in a fan assisted or combination oven adjust cooking times in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

    To boil:

    Remove outer packaging, place in a pan and cover with cold water, bring to the boil and simmer for 55 minutes per Kg plus 25 minutes extra.
